Sugarloaf Trail is a popular easy trail that is 3 miles long through a swamp, forest, and coastal habitats. Hikers should also make a point to visit Fort Fisher State Recreation Area with wildlife viewing, photography, fishing, birdwatching and much more.

GO FISHING 

Fishing is a huge draw to Carolina Beach. The town has countless charters and fishing spots, making it easy to reel in a big one.
